At the recent Country Range Awards, Birchall Catering Supplies were announced as winners of the Brand Builder of the Year 2006 Award.

This is awarded to the Country Range Member, who has demonstrated sustained and substantial growth over a significant period of time.

The award was presented to Directors, Justin Birchall and Keith Horner at Coventry City Football Stadium Conference Centre by Olympic Gold Medalist, James Cracknell OBE

Simply the Best

The Telesales Department are on a high after winning the prestigious Pritchitts / Pro-Wholesaler Regional Telesales Depot of the Year award for 2006. They fought off stiff competition from over 40 other Foodservice companies to win the award. The competition is in its eighth year and is organised by the Pro Wholesaler magazine and sponsored by Pritchitts Foods a major supplier to the catering trade.

A delighted Colin Birchall, Managing Director, said, 'This award, which is widely recognised throughout the catering industry, is just reward for a team whose attitude and commitment in providing their customers with the highest levels of service in a fast moving and dynamic business has set us apart from many of our national competitors.' The girls have, who as part of their prize,won £500 and are going to spend their winnings living the high life by staying a night in a top London hotel and seeing a West End show.

Another feather to the telesales cap is our very own Krissy Johnson got through to the final of the Pritchitts Pro Wholesaler Telesales Achiever 2006, which is based on individual performance. Coming fourth out of 400 entrants earned Krissy a cheque for £100. A delighted Krissy said 'I have only been a member of the telesales team for 12 months and it's nice to be recognised and rewarded for all my hard work. I shall spend my winnings in London and no doubt have to buy all my colleagues a drink!'
